Podcast Development Producer - New York, NY Dec. 2021 - Present
As a podcast development producer, I work with the development and audio teams to conceptualize, create, produce, and launch new shows for Morning Brew.
I currently help produce Imposters, a show that highlights the intersection of personal struggle, mental health, and career through long-form interviews with successful individuals in business, entertainment, and athletics.
G/O Media Associate Producer - New York, NY Sept. 2019 - Dec. 2021
As G/O Media’s associate podcast producer, I was responsible for writing scripts, researching and booking guests, collaborating with show hosts, taping interviews, managing production schedules, editing and scoring episodes, and ensuring our podcasts released on a weekly basis. I also worked with G/O’s individual websites when they want to launch a podcast, helping create the concepts, planning and recording pilot episodes, and preparing the shows for launch. I produced the Webby Award-winning The Upgrade by Lifehacker, The Root Presents: It’s Lit!, Gadgettes, and Kotaku Splitscreen.
Motherly Media Oct. 2018 - Aug. 2019 Producer - New York, NY
As a contract podcast producer I helped create and launch Motherly’s first podcast, “The Motherly Podcast”—a series of 2-way conversations featuring politicians, authors, actors, entrepreneurs, and thought-leaders who are re-shaping the conversation around modern motherhood. I work with Motherly’s editors to pitch, research, and book guests, write scripts and episode description copy, manage the production schedule, and cut, edit, and score episodes in Pro Tools.
Bustle May 2018 - Apr. 2019 Producer - New York, NY
I worked with Bustle’s lead producer of Bustle’s flagship podcast, “The Bustle Huddle” to cut, edit, and score episodes in Pro Tools, as well as pitch guests and episode topics and segments.
The Heritage Radio Network Sep. 2017 - May 2018 Research and Radio Intern - Brooklyn, NY
As an intern, I assisted with social media, writing and producing sponsored content, and small reported pieces. I also helped produce a 3-episode sponsored miniseries on urban farmers and their pets, called “Like Farmer, Like Dog”.
